Payment Policies

We participate in Delta Dental Premier insurance plan. Cash, check, Visa and MasterCard are also accepted. If you would like to extend payments over a period of time, we offer Care Credit. Payment plans are available through Care Credit at 0% interest for up to one year. Click the Care Credit link below to apply.

Payment through Insurance: Payment of your estimated portion of our invoice, such as your annual deductible and percentage of your treatment that is not covered by insurance, is due at the time services are rendered. As a courtesy, we will gladly contact your insurance provider in order to determine an estimate of your patient portion. However, we cannot guarantee the payment of insurance benefits, nor can we provide 100% accuracy of this estimated amount, since many factors are involved that determine the actual payment of benefits once our invoice is submitted and processed by your insurance provider. Keep in mind that many insurance providers base their quoted percentage of coverage (i.e. 100%, 80%, 50%, etc.) on their own fee schedule, and not on our office’s actual fees, which may result in a “balance due” that is higher than expected. Should an outstanding “balance due” result after your insurance company processes your claim, we will sent you a revised statement. Payment in full is due by the “due date” printed on the statement. Our office policy does not allow partial payments. If a credit balance should result after insurance processes your claim, we will promptly issue a refund to you.

Unpaid Insurance Claims: All dental services rendered, whether or not covered by insurance, are ultimately the financial responsibility of the account holder. We will give your insurance company 60 days to remit payment. If no payment has been made within this time frame, you will be financially responsible for 100% of the outstanding insurance claim. We will send you a statement, and payment in full will be due on the “due date” printed on the statement. It is the responsibility of the account holder to follow up with their own insurance company regarding the non-payment of a claim. If our office eventually receives a payment from your insurance after it has been paid by you, we will issue you a prompt refund.

Patients without Dental Insurance: Payment in full is expected at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, check, VISA, and MasterCard. However, if you pay with cash or check, we will provide you with a 10% discount. We are unable to provide this discount if payment is made with a credit card.

Broken Appointment Policy

Our office makes every effort to keep on schedule, so we respectfully ask our patients to be prompt and keep their scheduled appointments.

Our policy is as follows: If you cannot keep your reserved appointment time, we require 24 hours notice (one business day) to avoid a possible charge of $50 for the lost appointment time.

If you are late for your appointment and there is insufficient time to treat you, your dental appointment may need to be rescheduled and you may be charged. This will allow us to see other patients that are waiting for treatment. Our office reserves the right to dismiss you as a patient of record after missing three appointments.
